Olympic lifting focuses on the two main lifts: the Clean and Jerk and the Snatch—along with several variations. Performing those lifts develop explosive power and strength—attributes needed in every endeavor in life!
Want to learn how a few movements can help add stability, power and strength to ALL the other sports and events you do?
1. If you become a full time MURC teammate/member, you can train with members of our Team: MURC Weightlifting. Our club of weightlifters focus solely on become proficient and in competing in the O-lifts. They have fun and are hungry to share what they've learned while always learning more along the way.
2. If you’re looking for a coach to develop your techniques while you train somewhere else, sessions can be scheduled. Emphasis will be on achieving movement mastery first then progressively adding loads and techniques to match up with your current skill set.
Cost: No additional charge for full time teammates. Coaching sessions are $50. Price discounts exist for multiple people interested in being coached at same time.
